The Nani Komohana Tutus (Pretty Western Grandmothers) is a Polynesian dance group that is under the umbrella of the Dancing Arts Club in Sun City West, AZ. The group has been active since the mid 1980’s. It originally started as a fitness club. The group now performs all over the west Phoenix valley. In addition to hula, the group does other forms of Polynesian dancing, such as “Tahitian and Maori”. A few of the venues where the Tutus have performed are: Benevilla; Brookdale Senior Living centers; Peoria Community Center; and the Hillcrest Dance club.
